Poker
Poker is a popular card game using poker cards to make wagers placed into a central pot. The pot is then awarded to the player(s) holding the best combination of cards or to a player who makes an uncalled bet. Poker also has many game variations though following the same basic pattern of play. In Draw poker each player receives five or more cards concealed from community view. Players can then replace one or more of these cards a limited number of times to attempt to produce the best hand. In stud poker, players receive cards one at a time. Some cards are displayed to the community of players at the table. However unlike in draw poker, players are not allowed to discard or replace any cards. In community card poker, players may combine “community cards” that all players share with individually dealt cards. Each player is then to make the best poker hand using five cards taken from the community cards as well as their own individually concealed cards.
