Poker Calculator
A poker calculator is an algorithm that uses probabilistic or statistical means to derive a player’s chance of winning, losing, or tying in any given poker hand. A poker calculator can also come in three forms: advantage calculators, odds calculators, and relative calculators. A poker odds calculator calculates a player’s winning ratio as defined by the number of games won divided by the total number of games simulated in a given poker game for a specific player. A poker advantage calculator calculates a player’s winning ratio and normalizes the ratio of wins relative to the number of players. Poker relative calculators on the other hand are displayed at mostly poker shows and tournaments because they provide audiences an accurate assessment of a players’ winning chances.
