No Limit

No limit is a betting structure used in poker terminology used when describing the amount a player may open or raise. Betting limits may apply in four forms: spread limit, fixed limit, pot limit, and no limit. All poker games have a minimum bet and maximums. However players in no limit poker play may bet or raise at any amount of his or her stake at any time. This includes players betting or raising “all-in” where their total number of chips are entered into the pot.
