How To Play Texas Hold em
To know how to play Texas Hold em requires learning several rules. The two players left of the dealer must place blind bets. The player directly left of the dealer places a small blind while the other player two to the dealer’s left places the big blind. Each player is dealt two cards faced down. The first move falls on the player to the left of the big blind and can call, bet, raise, or fold. Betting the continues clockwise around the table. After the betting is completed during the first round, three cards are dealt, or flopped, face up in the center of the table; everyone uses these “community cards” to combine them with their own two cards to make the best hand. Again betting begins with the player on the small blind. Then a fourth card is dealt face up and another round of betting ensues. Finally the fifth and last card is dealt face up and the final round of betting occurs. The remaining players show their cards. The player with the best five-card hand combined with the center table cards then wins and perhaps knows how to play Texas Hold em.
